ServiceMaster Clean of Moncton is seeking an energetic professional for our “Specialty Cleaning Technician” role. Reporting to the General Manager this individual is responsible to support the General Manager with daily Commercial & Janitorial Cleaning along with other Production and client related tasks assigned by GM.

COMMERCIAL WORK SITE ENVIRONMENTS

- Construction Sites & Post Construction Cleaning

- Hazardous Cleaning: Bed Bug & Rodent Cleaning, Hoarder Cleaning, Mental Illness Cleaning, Trauma Cleaning, Biohazard Cleaning, Fecal & Urine Cleaning, Bodily Fluids & Bloodborne Disease Cleaning, Drug Houses & Needle Pick up Cleaning, Fire Extinguisher Cleanup, Infectious Disease Cleaning

- Graffiti, Vandalism Cleanup

- Fire & Water & Mold Disaster Cleaning

- Light Duty Commercial Janitorial Cleaning

- Industrialized Building Cleaning

- Kitchen & Restaurant Cleaning

- Residential Cleaning

- Parking Lots, Parkade Cleaning, Cold-Patching or other related asphalt maintenance

- Working at Heights: Scissor Lift, Staging, Ladders

- Pressure Washing

- And any other site ServiceMaster Clean maybe involved in.

JOB DUTIES (not limited to)

- On-Call for all Janitorial Cleaning Accounts and Commercial Cleaning

- Ability to work independently on all “Work Sites” in Job Description and any other site the ServiceMaster Clean Moncton is involved in.

- Staff Supervision & Training of all “Work Sites”

- Scheduling & Hiring Staff as necessary.

- Maintain documentation.

- Other Production, Cleaning, Client, Administrative or any additional tasks assigned by GM

WORKSAFE & SAFETY:

- Key Liaison working with General Manager on work-safe programs and documentation. Maintain Health & Safety and Environmental Standards.

- Working with General Manager to ensure staff have required training, certifications, WHMIS and understand and implementation of all Legislative mandates.

EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES

- Team player in managing supplies and Equipment, assist with payroll supplies & delivery as needed.

- Perform routine maintenance tasks & inspections on equipment.

- Ability to operate and understand basic maintenance of all equipment

On-Call

- This role requires on-call to assist with Absenteeism, Vacancy, Holidays.

- On-Call & Flexibility is paramount and is considered a must within the role.

Technology & Industry Standards:

- Continuous training and self education of Industry Standards and Technology.

- Willingness to work flexible hours to help meet Business goals.

- Must maintain a valid drivers license with a clear drivers abstract while employed with ServiceMaster.

- Must maintain physical ability while employed with ServiceMaster.

PHYSICAL ABILITY

- Wear Full Body PPE for long periods of time.

- Physically & Medically Fit to wear Half Face & Full-Face Respirator for long periods of time.

- Maintain Extremely High Physical Paced working conditions for long periods of time.

- Lift more than 80lbs, Standing, Stair climbing, Kneeling, crouching.

- Operate Backpack Vacuum (8-12lbs)

- Operate Ride-on Scrubber & Walk behind auto scrubbers.

- Stand for long periods of time.

- Physical demands include walking and standing, climbing, bending, kneeling to clean floors by hand, push and pull objects, lift and move objects, repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movements.

- Hand Dexterity

- Mentally able to be exposed to very sensitive, graphic, dangerous, disorderly environments.

- Operate Leaf Blowers, Sweepers, Propane Tiger Torches

- Works well independently and in a team environment

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

DRESS CODE:

- Industrialized clothing

- CSA Shoes worn at all time.

- Approved Reflective Vest

- Follow ServiceMaster Brand Uniform Policy

- Proper PPE worn as needed.

BONDABLE

- Must maintain Bondable Status while employed with ServiceMaster

- Must provide Current RCMP Check, may require further Federal Checks as needed for Site Access
